Bridget McManus is a Sundance Institute 2021-2022 Fellow in the Episodic Lab.

 

She created and hosted of BRUNCH WITH BRIDGET and BRIDGET MCMANUS PRESENTS: THAT TIME OF THE MONTH (Logo), she is also recognized from her recurring roles on TRANSPARENT (Amazon) and THE QUEEN LATIFAH SHOW (CBS).

 

McManus has starred in four comedy specials: LAUGHING MATTERS: THE NEXT GENERATION (Logo), ONE NIGHT STAND UP (Logo), BRIDGET MCMANUS: LIVE IN CHICAGO, and BRIDGET MCMANUS: LIVE AT THE TROPICANA IN LAS VEGAS.  She has toured internationally and was a correspondent for the 8th International Gay Games in Cologne, Germany.

She is currently working alongside Showrunner/Executive Producer Melanie Marnich (THE BIG C, THE AFFAIR, THE OA, BIG LOVE) on the upcoming Peacock series APPLES NEVER FALL. The  7-part limited series is based on Liane Moriarty's book of the same name. Liane Moriary wrote BIG LITTLE LIES and NINE PERFECT STRANGERS, which inspired the award nominated and winning HBO series. 

 

McManus received her BFA from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. She's an alum of The Second City Conservatory Program and trained at The Groundlings. McManus is repped by Industry Entertainment.
